Feb 26th Club members were treated to a truly educational evening on Friday night. Gary Smith demonstrated and spelled out the fine points that we should consider when we paint as he critiqued samples of our members work.
Feb. 19th Linda Montgomery presented DVAC Friday Club Night members to a demonstration of Liquitex products. Linda was successful in getting people excited about the endless possibilities of acrylic colour and mediums. She had many samples and demonstrated of the various effects one can achieve. Attendees were each given a sample bag of Liquitex products.
Feb 5th DVAC Friday night club welcomed guest artist, Rob Croxford. Through slides of his work, Rob illustrated how his career has evolved. Rob’s vintage-style work is instantly identifiable! It is quite playful, mostly clever, slightly twisted, and often has a “pocket-sized” political edge.
