NEW MEMBERS Meet and Greet – September 2020

After 6 long months it was wonderful to have our 1st Meeting (since Covid-19) to greet outdoors the New Members and reconnect with the other Members.

The weather for the occasion was perfect!

Jessie Gordon, President, together with other Committee Chairs and volunteers outlined the many activities of the Club. Ann Wojtowicz mentioned the involvement of the Social Events Committee during the Spring and Fall Show and Sale, as well as in the Christmas Event.

Theo brought along Dee Birchmore’s prints as a give-away gift for our new members. A Quiz game, as well as a lucky draw for a DVAC Apron for new members, and 5 potted mums for all members, enlivened the event.

All in all, the participants reported having spent a very successful, enjoyable and informative afternoon. Many thanks go out to all the volunteers who organized this event!
