47 people attended the Friday Zoom event to watch David McEown’s presentation. And we saw amazing art, voyaged together on art travels (even saw a Spirit Bear) and learned watercolour techniques from a well-versed artist.
David is originally from Ontario and has painted all over the world – check marked having painted on all seven continents! His current project is a large watercolour mural.
For the demo, David spent time telling us about the colour palette he uses, his painting technique and demonstrated how to effectively layer the colours to compose the painting. The demo brought to life the rocks of Lake Superior right before our eyes. His upcoming workshop in March is definitely going to be worth attending.
