The Don Valley Art Club (DVAC) Online Art Show & Sale

Don Valley Art Club (DVAC) is a group of local Canadian artists. We aim to simplify the purchase process of local art by combining art and online technology.  DVAC commits its best efforts to ensure a dynamic platform for a pleasant and professional experience as a service to its Buyers, Artists and Visitors. DVAC functions as the Agent of the artists, providing venue, promotion and sales. HST will be charged in addition to the price of artwork.

 By visiting DVAC’s online platform, agreement to the following terms and conditions is implied:

BUYERS, ARTISTS AND VISITORS TO DVAC COMMIT TO: 

1. All purchases are final and non-refundable except if the purchased artwork is no longer available at the time of the transaction, in which case the total of the transaction will be refunded to the Buyer. 
2. Buyers and Artists will ensure that all contact and billing information is accurate and up to date.
3. Pick up or delivery of the artwork will be arranged within 7 days after a purchase is processed. 
   The Buyer is responsible for contacting the Artist by telephone or email in order to arrange for pick-up or delivery. The Artist will contact the Buyer if he/she has not been in contact. 
4. The Buyer is responsible for a purchased work from the moment it is delivered to them or from the moment it is picked up from the Artist. 
5. The Artist maintains copyright of their artwork.
6. Protection of the copyright of the artists:
   The artworks displayed on the platform are not to be reproduced in any format without the written consent of the Artists they belong to.  Artworks may be used for the purpose of media promotion with permission of the artists.

DVAC COMMITS TO: 

1. Ensure optimal realistic representation of an artwork on the platform before posting. 
   
2. Endeavour to ensure the means of pick-up, delivery or shipping as agreed to by Artist and Buyer when an artwork is sold on the platform. 
3. Protection of the copyright of the artists:
   The artworks displayed on the platform are not to be reproduced in any format without the written consent of the Artists they belong to.  Artworks may be used for the purpose of media promotion with permission of the artists.
