Show and Tell – Thursday Night Talk- May 7, 2026

With Sylvia LeRoy facilitating members of the DVAC gathered in the studio to share their art and talk about their composition, choice of colors, materials used, and what inspired them to create the work. Other members gave advice, suggestions and positive feedback to each. 

There were a variety of styles from realism, abstract, folk art, impressionism to  portraiture, and a sketch book of small one a day paintings.  Mediums included oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylics. It was inspiring and interesting to hear some of the often humorous stories told about the art as well.

We had a delicious dessert table with coffee and tea that all enjoyed!

This is a popular event with members and we all look forward to more of these in the future.
